Answer:

I was trying to come up with a good username a few years back (after choosing usernames with numbers in them for the longest time) and picked some random things I associated with that also weren’t common selections online.

“windie” is a transliteration of the Japanese word for Arcanine, if my Googling from back then is to be believed.

“bird” is really just the English word ^_^ I love all birds and technically worship the idea of one (but it’s a bit more complicated than that, if I can say that much without sounding too pretentious).
